As a photographer and portrait artist, the magic that takes place between us sparks my eye...in a blink I am able to preserve this heartfelt bond of love and create fine art to enjoy for a lifetime.
What is my investment?
Your Portrait Experience is $490, which covers your entire consultation, concept plan, and portrait sitting.
You also get to enjoy your $100 credit, toward the purchase of your portrait prints. At our reveal session, you can decide which collection you would like to purchase: fine art prints, portfolio boxes, and custom art enlargements for your wall. Our flexible pricing structure allows you to choose exactly what you desire.
What does the $490 include?

CONSULTATION - to hear your vision for how you want to be photographed, and where in your home you would like to see LOVE on your walls.

CUSTOM 'LOOK BOOK' - this set of concepts will be sent to you for feedback, allowing you to select the looks that best resonate with your vision. This will help us plan sets, wardrobe, and overall style to create portraits designed to translate beautifully into artwork for your home.

PORTRAIT SESSION - to discuss your vision for how you want to be photographed and coach you on what to wear/wardrobe styling.

REVEAL & ORDERING SESSION - Use your $100 portrait credit during your in-person session (in our studio, your home, or via video) to look at the 20-30 Portraits we have created for you. At this session, we will discuss the Portraits you would care to be transformed into beautiful artwork, and place your order for gifts and collections you will cherish. A la carte archival portraits are $250 each, and collections of eight or more start at $1490. The more photographs you purchase, the more you save.

HAIR & MAKEUP - If you care to include the talents of our professional hair and makeup stylist on your Portrait session date, please let us know as we can schedule this service for you.

How do I know what to select?
When you see the 20-30 stunning images we have created for you, you will probably want them all! Our fine art provider in Italy creates museum quality matted prints for our clients, and these are $250 each.
You can also save by purchasing collections. The more you buy, the more you save. Our packages with 8 images start at $1490 + tax and go up from there. We do take credit cards and offer payment plans as well. Each Portrait comes hand-in-hand with the digital negative, for you to cherish forever.

TELL ME ABOUT YOUR PRODUCTS FOR SALE - We offer beautiful products to store and display your new photographs, including matted prints, albums, portfolio boxes, and wall art. My most popular item is a glass-front eco-leather box, handcrafted in Italy, which sits on your dresser, mantel, or coffee table to preserve your new fine art prints. It's like a living frame, allowing you to easily change out your Portrait displayed in the front window.

What days are available?
We have available sessions during the week, and a few on Saturdays, all by appointment. Availability is first come first served. On your consultation call with Jennifer, she will share the next available dates and make sure to find an opening that works for you.
Do you travel to other places?
Absolutely! Travel fees are waived for clients within a 1-hour radius of Evanston, Illinois, however, I'm more than happy to accommodate your session anywhere in the United States! Travel fees are based on location and the goal of the personal session or commercial proejct. Please inquire for a custom quote.
Can you work with anxious animals?
I’m well-versed in animal behavior and know how to handle situations calmly and effectively. Every family member - whether four-legged or two-legged - deserves to be celebrated just as they are, and I take the time to create a relaxed, positive environment so your dog feels safe, comfortable, and free to show their true personality.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions can take place anywhere that feels right for you and your dog - your home, your favorite park, or one of my handpicked locations, all with great light and natural beauty in mind. Need location ideas? Let's chat about spots in Evanston, the North Shore, and Chicago.
Can I be in the photographs too?
The bond you share with your dog is a huge part of their story, and some of the most heartfelt images come from simple moments of connection; a snuggle, a laugh, a lick in the face, or a quiet touch. You don’t need to pose or perform - just be present and I will handle the rest!
How long will my session last?
The goal is to create a relaxed experience that feels fun and stress-free for both of you, so with that in mind, most dog photography sessions last anywhere from 45-60 minutes. Some dogs warm up quickly, while others need time to settle in, so I always schedule us a nice buffer just in case.
I'm not photogenic, is that okay?
I simply don't believe in "photogenic." It's my job as the photographer to make you look and feel amazing! And lucky for you I am a trained master at making women of all ages, shapes and sizes look stunning in photographs.
What will I wear?
Following our consultation conversation, I will create a 'Style Guide' designed specifically for you. From here, you select your wardrobe choices, and we plan your portrait session.
In our studio, we have a collection of over 50 clothing items, or you can go with a business look, or be casual in jeans. You can wear a fancy cocktail dress or yoga pants... There are no rules, this is an experience tailored-made for you.
Can I include my partner, child, or other family?
Certainly! You can definitely include loved ones in your Portrait session. Part of your story is the people (and furry pets) you love. So if you want to include your loved ones, the more the merrier. And you also have total permission to make this photoshoot just about YOU! (Additional hair and make-up styling is $150 per person, if needed).
What is the artwork I will receive?
Often, when people hear the terms “artwork” or “wall art,” they immediately picture a large framed piece above the couch. “Artwork” simply refers to your images in printed form.
Some clients are drawn to larger statement pieces, offered in a range of textures and finishes such as canvas, metal, or acrylic. Others prefer a collection of smaller framed pieces, perfect for creating a gallery wall or a thoughtfully curated collage. For some, smaller frames styled on shelves, bedside tables, or an office desk feel just right. Even a single, more modest piece, like an 18-inch custom print, can make a meaningful impact in the right space.
Others gravitate toward a collection of fine art prints, such as matted 8x10s, beautifully stored in a presentation box and easily rotated through frames or displayed on an easel. One of the most popular options is a custom layflat album, allowing you to hold the full story of your session without needing wall space - perfect for a coffee table or elegantly styled shelf.
The options are truly endless, and together we will create a tailored approach that fits your space and allows you to enjoy your images in the way that feels most meaningful to you.
Do you retouch my photographs?
All images that are created in-camera are retouched just enough to reveal optimal color tones, shadows and highlights, skin quality, and wardrobe styling. Through professional hair & makeup artistry, use of professional cameras and lenses, studio lighting, and post-production editing, your pictures will show you at your VERY best!
